Abstract
The purpose of this study is to draw tasks to improve social care support for childen with disabilities with the outbreak of COVID-19, and to establish future support measures. As a research method, previous studies on social care support for children with disabilities related to COVID-19, in Korea and abroad, were considered. To derive social care support issues and improvement measures for children with disabilities, a panel of 20 experts was organized and three Delphi surveys were conducted. The result of AHP analysis showed that the top items in both the importance and the urgency of social care policies for children with disabilities were ¡°emergency care for families of children with disabilities¡±, ¡°home-helper projects, and temporary personal assistant service¡±, and ¡°customized support for families of children with disabilities who have complex needs¡±. The suggestions for this as follows: strengthen emergency care for children with disabilities, establish care centers and care-personnels regarding characteristics of children with disabilities, develop crisis management and monitoring systems for families with multiple disabilities, and develop various contact-free services for children with disabilities.
